Alan DeBake, store manager for Ben Franklin Crafts, 5550 E. Grant Road, said he ordered about 120 American flags in lights that sold out at $14.99 apiece in about a week.

He's also out of 99-cent patriotic pinwheels and is quickly selling fabric with a pattern of American flags.

"We sell Christmas lights, and we've been selling a lot of red, white and blue,'' he said."We don't have many left."
