   Mrs. Deault earned a bachelor's degree in Asian studies and history at the University of Colorado at Boulder and a master's degree in instructional technology, with a library media emphasis, at the University of Colorado at Denver.
   
   She was most recently a librarian and media specialist with the Boulder Valley School District at Broomfield Heights Middle School.
   
   She was a substitute teacher in the St. Vrain School District and the Boulder Valley School District.
   
   Mrs. Deault was a Kidsconnect volunteer and belonged to the Colorado Educational Media Association, the American Association of School Librarians and WISE, a women's investment club.
   
   Her hobbies included reading, tennis, hiking, sewing, knitting, gardening and sailing.
   
   Mrs. Deault will be remembered for her kind words, never forgetting a thank-you-note and never expecting anything in return.
