   Eric Deaton has more than 20 years of healthcare experience and has served in leadership positions at eight hospitals and medical centers.He most recently served as Chief Executive Officer for Coastal Carolina Medical Center - a 41-bed acute care facility in South Carolina.There, he was part of the management team that actively built and promoted the new hospital facility, organized its new service lines, recruited more than 100 new medical staff members and developed an organization focused on customer and community service.
   
   Prior to joining LifePoint, Mr. Deaton worked for Wellmont-Bristol Regional Medical Center, where he served as Vice President of Finance and Operations for five years.Prior to his position at Wellmont, he worked for 13 years in various capacities for HCA, Inc.Mr. Deaton received his BS in Business Administration and Accounting from Milligan College and earned an MBA from Bristol College.Additionally, he is a Fellow and member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
