David Deaton is one of Shreveport-Bossier's most visible young musicians -- a singer-songwriter and guitar extraordinaire.His band NSomniax plays Thursday - Saturday nights at South Paws and he regularly hosts the songwriters' nights at Tommy's Place.David is moderator for the ShreveportRocks "Rock Talk" forum, and he spends the rest of his hours working at Deerview Studios.

On Saturday, July 29 with John Compton on bass, Mike Owens on drums, and Pat Smith on steel guitar, Deaton played with heart and soul to a crowd of friends, family, and fans.
