Spring 2006- Yearbook Advisor Dana Deaton is out on maternity leave!She and her husband Finley Lee are happy to announce the birth of their son, Griffin Daniel Lee, born January 13.

This is because Ms. Deaton will be leaving Moore Square in December to have a baby!

The students in the class will also be writing articles for the PTSA newsletter, developing presentations for the Tower of Learning, and photographing many events around our school.

About the class: Before coming to M2M3, Ms. Deaton taught communications technology at Culbreth MIddle School for five years.The course was 8th grade, application only, and was a very successful class!She is hoping that 8th graders at Moore Square will also enjoy the topics covered in this challenging, creative, and fun course.

Students should make every effort to be at yearbook meetings.If you have a conflicting club or regularly scheduled Wednesday activity, you'll need to choose one.If you need to make up a test or work after school for another teacher, try to do it on a different day, or make arrangments to split the time. Excused absences include things like: dentist/doctor appointments, family travel plans, sickness, special one time events/rehearsals, etc. If you miss a yearbook meeting, please check with Ms. Deaton or another staff member immediately to find out what you missed!

May, 2004: The 2004 Galleria: Volume 2 of "The Galleria" was delivered on May 19, 20, or 21!Ms. Deaton and the yearbook staff worked hard to produce the book.Extra yearbooks have been ordered and are being sold for $35 EACH.This year the yearbook is ALL COLOR!The Galleria has 88 pages and was published by Jostens.
