Cynthia Deaton (Children's Pastor)

Cynthia was born in Edinburg, Texas. Graduated from University of Texas Pan American, in August 1972. Cynthia has been married to her high school sweetheart Mark Deaton for 36 years! #1 daughter is Taryn Deaton and she lives in Brooklyn, NY and works at Columbia University. #2 daughter is Patrice Deaton and she lives in Branson, Mo., working as a Missionary with Lead Time.

Cynthia begins her 12th year at BUMC. She has been in Christian Education for 27 years serving Manchaca UMC in Austin, First UMC in San Angelo, and the San Angelo District as their Program Director.
