Mr. Deatelhauser was retired as a Parts Manager at Growden Lincoln Mercury. He served with General Patton during World War II in the U.S. Army. Throughout his life , he and his wife were avid Fort Hill High School football fans.
Surviving are one sister , Myrna M. Kunis and husband Bill , Cumberland ; one brother , Charles L. Deatelhauser and wife Betty , Hagerstown ; one sister-in-law , Dorothy Deatelhauser , Cumberland ; one brother-in-law , Bernard Reynolds and wife Mary , Ridgeley , W.Va. ; several nieces and nephews , including his nephew , Timmy Kunis and wife Brenda , and their sons , Timmy , Jermey and Rusty.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home , P.A. , 108 Virginia Ave. , Cumberland , on Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m..
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Charles Riggleman officiating.
