   Shirley grew up in Aliquippa, PA. At the age of 10, she received Christ as her Savior. She attended Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA, where she received a B.S. degree in Mathematics and went on to the University of Pittsburgh to receive her M. Ed. She has taught High School and college level mathematics, and she currently teaches math for Robert Morris University and the Community College of Beaver County. She attends the Bridhead C&MA Church in Aliquippa where she serves as the local director for AWM. She has served AWM as an Area Director, as member-at-large on the District Team and as the District Director.
