Janet Dean is a Director of the Dean Knight Partnership, a regeneration consultancy which combines expertise in strategic development, project management, urban and neighbourhood renewal and the historic environment.
Janet has more than 25 years experience in local government working in housing, social services, planning and economic development, and corporate strategy.She was an Executive Director at Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council until May 2005.Since setting up the Dean Knight Partnership she has completed a range of consultancy and interim management assignments, including leading Hull City Council's housing improvement work as Interim Director of Housing.
Janet is a Neighbourhood Renewal Adviser for Communities and Local Government, a Non-Executive Director of the Yorkshire and Humber Strategic Health Authority, and has recently been elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. -
