Dan Dean entered the graphic design field in 1996 as an art director at Fantagraphics Books, an independant book publisher in Seattle, WA. In 1998 he became the assistant art director of The Rocket magazine, a Seattle based bi-weekly devoted to in-depth coverage of music and entertainment, committed to innovative and effective graphic design.
