   CYNTHIA DEAN has been an active soloist in Washington for the past twelve years after having performed widely throughout Southern California in both opera and musical theater. She has worked with Seattle Opera, been featured in presentations at the Oregon Bach Festivals under the baton of Helmut Rilling and has still found time to serve for many years in the music ministry at First Presbyterian Church of Bellevue as soloist and instructor. Ms. Dean has had the privilege of performing under the batons of Carlo Maria Giulini, Aaron Copland, Krystof Penderecki and Zubin Meta, and studied with the renowned soprano, Arleen Auger.

   Cyndy has a degree in vocal performance, a Masters in Creative Arts Education and currently brings her wide range of experience to the classroom as a Music Specialist for the Lake Washington Unified School District and to the FPCB childrens choir, His Kids.
