On Friday, I had a conversation with Jangl CTO Ben Dean.While we primarily were discussing some of the privacy issues surrounding integrating your various Jangl-enhanced identities in your social networks, the topic of the Jangl/Jajah partnership also came up.

I specifically asked Ben if the partnership had anything to do with the launching of Jajah Direct, as I posited a few weeks ago.Ben said that it was a "lucky coincidence" that the partnership was announced and Jajah Direct happened shortly thereafter.

"We have created here a model that welcomes people very quickly into our service," Jangl's other co-founder Ben Dean said.

With that, I partnered with Ben Dean to start Jangl (formerly Buzzage).Here we are.I still play in a band actually, and now Ben plays with me.

Jangl CEO Michael Cerda described the end of Jangl on his personal blog, recounting efforts to raise more VC funds and find a more formal company merger partner before agreeing along with chief technologist Ben Dean to resign from Jangl on Tuesday and be subsumed into Jajah.

Jangl was founded by Michael Cerda and Ben Dean and is privately held.
