   Barbara is a Certified Physician Assistant who studied at the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York for her Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant studies degree. Her major included a concentration in Psychology as well. She graduated with high honors and was named to the Dean,s list. During her clinical rotations in the PA program, she spent six weeks in the field of Hematology and Oncology, just part of the ten total rotations completed at hospitals, including Park Ridge Hospital, Highland Hospital, Geneva General Hospital, and FF Thompson Hospital. Barbara has recently received her master,s degree in Physician Assistant studies at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
   
   After graduation from RIT, Barbara took a position with Ridgewood Medical Group, an outpatient internal medicine office in Rochester, New York. While there she treated patients with all types of medical problems and focused on diabetic education. After a year and a half, she was offered a position at Interlakes Oncology and Hematology in Rochester, New York where she worked in a similar practice setting to TCA. Through her work there she gained experience in treating patients with various types of cancers and blood related disorders. She since has relocated to Dallas in July 2003 to continue in the field of Oncology and Hematology at Texas Cancer Associates.
   
   Barbara is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Texas Academy of Physician Assistants, Rochester Regional PA Association, and Association of PA,s in Oncology (APAO).
