    The project funded by a $10 million bond is near completion, said Michelle Deluna, Minidoka County School District treasurer.

    Some of the funds will go to other school projects like a science room at West Minico Middle School, the music room at Minico High School, removing berms at Big Valley Elementary School, restroom projects at Heyburn Elementary School and Acequia Elementary School as well as roofing projects throughout the district, Deluna said.

    "A lot of that is still in the works," Deluna said.

    The high school project, which was budgeted at $4 million, included $230,000 for a new ninth-grade wing, $2.6 million for a multi-purpose building and $910,000 for the remodeling project in the older portion of the school.There are also some projects which are not yet complete, said Deluna.

    Deluna said the state averages $587.81 reimbursement cost per student with $2.55 average reimbursement cost per mile, Deluna said.

    Minidoka County School District's average reimbursement cost per student is $383.64 per student and $1.76 per mile, Deluna said.
