Veronica L. Davis is a Program Manager for the Management & Administration (M&A) Group of the Information Technology Division's Solution Delivery (SD) business unit at the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).She joined the TSA due to her wish to make a personal contribution to the nation subsequent to the devastation of September 11.Veronica brings with her 18 years of commercial experience in the IT sector and 3 years of Federal service.
Miss Davis was hand picked by her peers to develop the new M&A Group within SD and, as a Program Manager, communicates and performs oversight of day-to-day business finance and acquisition practices.Previously, Miss Davis was the Program Manager and Lead for the TSA Information Technology Management Services (ITMS) contract.Her service in this organization earned her the Silver Medal Award for Service for successfully establishing and implementing procurement practice for the Office of the Chief Information Officer during the initial standup and deployment of thousands of IT equipment and telecommunication services nationwide.
In addition, Miss Davis is the President/CEO of Business Information Development Solutions, Incorporated (BIDS).She founded BIDS as a small, minority-owned business to provide advice to friends as well as to small business and minority companies that need support pursuing their entrepreneurial objectives.
Veronica has a Bachelors of Administration in Computer Information Systems Science from the University of the District of Columbia and a Masters Certificate in Program Management from George Washington University.She is currently applying for her DoD Program Management Certification.
