  In her current position, Jeanette works as a one-woman-development shop where she does it all: branding, marketing, product development, grant-writing, donor cultivation and volunteer coordination. In addition, Jeanette consults to underdeveloped non-profits helping them achieve measurable levels of self-sustainability, by creating compelling and innovative income streams. At present she is Treasurer and Resource Development Chair of Women In Fatherhood, Inc., and Outgoing Chair of the Pacific Northwest Advisory Board of the United Negro College Fund. Jeanette earned her B.A. degree from The Evergreen State College, and has completed course work towards her M.A. in Not-for-Profit Leadership from Seattle University.

Davis-Loeb is the Founder & CEO of the Rising Oak Foundation, a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to directly affecting the intellectual, psychological and spiritual development of boys of African descent. She is also the former V.P. and C.O.O. of Dynamic Industries L.L.C., specializing in property development and asset management.
  
  Jeanette is a passionate speaker who travels the country reintroducing our communities to the unique blessing, potential and power of Black boys. In addition to her work on behalf of boys of African descent, Ms. Davis-Loeb shares her business know how with individuals and organizations from coast to coast.
  
  She credits the men in her family with being the inspiration for the creation of the Rising Oak Foundation. Her commitment and passion stem from her desire to establish a nurturing and stimulating environment for black boys, where they can take root and stand firm in the beauty of who they are and who they will be.
  
  It's like being a young prince growing to maturity, she said, only to discover that you re missing that elusive something you need to pull the sword out of the stone and inherit the kingdom. Ensuring that our boys have that elusive something is what Jeanette believes the Rising Oak Foundation is all about.
  
  Ms. Davis-Loeb is the author of What Are You Bringing to the Party? A Model for Success, (LuLu.com, November 2008), and a contributor to A Philanthropic Covenant With Black America, (Jossey-Bass, February 2009).
