Minna Louise Davis-NicoleFRANKLIN - Minna Louise Davis-Nicole, 93, a resident of Franklin since 1991, died Sunday, April 22, 2007, at Epoch Senior Healthcare of Sharon.She was the wife of the late Frederick W. Davis.Born in Medford, she was the daughter of the late Max P. and Louise (Schroeder) Myers.She was educated in Medford public schools, graduating with the Class of 1931.She began her secretarial career in 1932, just out of high school, with the John Hancock Life Insurance Co. in Boston on her 18th birthday. Over the years she worked for many places, including Bishop's Tavern and Gunlock's as a waitress during the war years.She picked up her secretarial career again after the war with Bird Machine in East Walpole. An opening became available at the Medfield State Hospital where she worked for several years before seeking the position of secretary to the principal of the Medfield High School, where she stayed for more than 25 years until her retirement in 1965.Formerly of Foxborough, where she had lived for five years, and Medfield, where she made her residence for more than 25 years, she enjoyed knitting and cribbage.
