Michael Davis-Burchat

Michael Davis-Burchat used to be a professor of Industrial Design at Humber College in Toronto before he decided to join the one year Master of Design Methods at the Institute of Design. After a three year stint at Pitney Bowes with likes of luminaries like Austin Henderson, Mike and his wife Lili have just moved to Helsinki.

Michael Davis-Burchat is a graduate of the Ontario College of Art and Design.He began his career as a consultant with Gad Shannan Consulting Designers, Montreal.He moved then to GTE Sylvania designing lighting products.He helped start the manufacturing partnership "One Better Mousetrap" in Toronto that sold house wares through Costco stores across North America.

He continues to consult for clients specializing in areas of branding, brand driven forms, ergonomics and manufacturing.He is a past member of the Board of ACIDO as well as the "Humane Village" Conference in 1997.
