Mary Davenport, PT - Mary graduated from Iowa State University in 1982, University of Iowa in 1984 with her PT certificate, and earned her MA in 1990 from the University of Iowa.Today, Mary works in the Aquatics Therapy program at the YMCA & Rehabilitation Center.While in college, Mary took an anatomy and physiology class that made her realize she wanted a career in the medical field and decided PT was the best fit.She has been a swimmer since she was a child and has swam competitively, taught lessons, life guarded, and coached swimming.She now has the opportunity to combine her love of the water with her PT skills.Mary enjoys swimming, running, biking, skiing, and playing piano.Her future goals are to continue improving her aquatic therapy skills and the aquatic therapy program.Mary is married to Rusty and has three children, Kathleen, Rex, and Randy.
