Dr Zheng Daqing worked as an Associate Professor at the University of Petroleum, Beijing and was the Head of the Thermodynamic Division in 1994. Since 1996 he has joined BASF (China) working as IPS Project Manager and General Manager of BJNC. Since March 2002, he was the General Manager of BASF-YPC Company Limited, responsible for operational division of Oxo-C3/C4 and C1 Chemicals.
Dr Daqing held his degrees of BS and MS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Petroleum, China in 1983 and 1988 respectively. Since 1989 he had studied at Technical University Berlin, Germany and obtained his PhD in Chemical Engineering in 1994.
