   Fairplex welcomes Daniel Danzig as the new executive director of the prestigious Millard Sheets Gallery. Danzig, a Pasadena resident, is the former manager with the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. He has a strong background in arts administration, including directing galleries and programs, curating and producing exhibitions, budgeting, fund raising, and supervising personnel and projects.
   
   Danzig's career began in the late 1970s as a gallery intern and artist's assistant while attending the School of Visual Arts in New York. In 1984, he founded his own contemporary art gallery in New Jersey. He has a bachelor of arts degree from University of Alabama and a master of arts from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago.
