Frank Danysh
"The CRA has given us the opportunity to re-establish our effective community police efforts, bringing the police department and the community together for the greater good of Boynton Beach."
Officer Frank Danysh is currently assigned to the CRA Unit of the Special Services Division. Officer Danysh began his Law Enforcement Career with the Boynton Beach Police Department in 1992. He has served in the Uniform Services Division as Road Patrol Officer and with the Marine Unit. Officer Danysh was assigned as DARE Officer in 1999. He recognized the need to install programs for aggressive behavior as well as drug and alcohol abuse, thus the Y.E.S. Program. Officer Danysh taught 6th, 7th and 8th grades at Congress Middle School. He was assigned to teach programs on Aggressors, Victims and By-Standers and Project Northland Alcohol Prevention. The Aggressors course teaches students about conflict resolution and consequences. The course utilizes role-plays and class discussions that help students learn how to make healthy choices. The Northland course teaches students about the effects of alcohol and the dangers of misuse. Last year he was named Officer of the Year for Crime Prevention for the Boynton Beach Police Department.
Officer Danysh is also the Senior Advisor for the Boynton Beach Police Explorer Post #369. The Explorers is a leadership development program offered to the youth of Boynton Beach. They learn about the duties and responsibilities of police officers. The Police Explorers assist the police at city events and contribute their time to many civic organizations. Officer Danysh and his Explorers compete in Statewide Police Explorer events throughout the year.
