JOHN "BUTCH" DANYS, 62, of Garfield died Sunday. Before retiring last year, he was an assistant superintendent for the Garfield Department of Public Works, where he worked for 10 years. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Virgin R.C. Church, Garfield. He was a member of the Board of Health and athletic director of the Junior Boilermakers, both in Garfield.
