    Amy Dantzler, Senior Vice President of Strategic Business Development and Corporate Counsel, joined KPL in 2004.Amy brought with her many years of experience as both an attorney and in the real estate industry.

    In 2000, Amy was the youngest of the founders of a law firm comprised of 14 full-time attorneys that continues to operate successfully today.Her legal experience is diverse.She has handled cases in both federal and state courts through trials and appeals dealing with many areas of the law including contract, insurance, real estate, copyright, trademark, employment and product liability.Her legal work resulted in the reported case, General Star Indemnity Company v. Superior Court (Hard Rock Cafe), 47 Cal. App.4th 1586; 55 Cal. Rptr.2d 322 (1996) that, at the time, redefined certain issues of insurance law in the State of California.

    In 2002, Amy left her legal practice to become Executive Vice President and General Counsel to a consulting firm that facilitates the resolution of commercial disputes and litigation and arranges complex commercial real estate transactions and financing.She became a real estate broker and, in addition to other responsibilities, arranged commercial real estate financing.

    Amy received her B.A. in English literature from Pomona College and graduated from Loyola Law School.She is a member of the State Bar of California and a California licensed Real Estate Broker.
