Mr. Dantonio is a nationally recognized leader in the practice of sales and use taxation. He will be working with our national team of state and local tax specialists to provide tax advisory and advocacy services to meet the sophisticated and complex tax compliance and planning needs of a variety of clients. Mr. Dantonio has considerable experience resolving tax controversies, providing audit defense, audit appeals, voluntary disclosures, and negotiated settlements. Mr. Dantonio has more than 25 years of state and local tax experience, both in industry and as a tax practitioner. Most recently, he was the Sales and Use Tax Practice Leader for the Ohio Valley Region of Deloitte Tax LLP. Previously, he was a founding partner of Limbach, Nolan, and Dantonio, Inc. Mr. Dantonio's work experience in industry includes Ross Laboratories/Abbott Laboratories, American Electric Power, Inc., and Wendy's International, Inc. Mr. Dantonio will help Ohio taxpayers improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their sales and use tax compliance functions by utilizing various methods, such as negotiating voluntary disclosure agreements, and obtaining tax refunds. In addition, he will provide unclaimed property services, including exposure analysis, remediation and the development of unclaimed property policies and procedures. A graduate of Otterbein College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting and business administration, Mr. Dantonio is a frequent speaker at national tax conferences and is a faculty member for Lorman Educational Services and the National Business Institute. Mr. Dantonio also serves on the Tax Committees of the Ohio Chamber of Commerce and The Ohio Manufacturer's Association and is a member of the Institute of Professionals in Taxation and the Ohio Society of CPA's. Mr. Dantonio serves on the Genoa Township Parks Committee and is chairman for the 2005 Race Committee for the All Terrain Vehicle Association. -
