University of Nevada women's golf coach Jody Dansie is resigning to pursue opportunities that will allow her to spend more time with her family, the university announced Friday.

Dansie, who recently finished her third season at the helm of the Wolf Pack women's golf program, will leave the program after fulfilling her Nevada contract through June 30.

"The last few months have made me realize how important spending time with my family really is, which is why I am moving on," Dansie said.

In her three seasons at Nevada, Dansie led the Wolf Pack to 10 top-five finishes. This season, Nevada turned in five top-five showings and captured the title at its own Wolf Pack Invitational in October. Dansie also coached sophomore Melanie De Leon to second-team All-WAC honors in each of the last two seasons.
