   THOMAS DANS, CFA, is a Senior Investment Officer for Agribusiness Management Company. Mr. Dans has 14 years of private equity and merchant banking experience with an emphasis on emerging markets. From 1997 to 2000 he was a Vice president at Evercore Partners, a New York investment firm where he focused on private equity investments. From 1995 to 1997, Mr. Dans directed the Russian operations of The U.S. Russia Investment Fund (TUSRIF), a $440 million venture capital fund. From 1991 to 1995, Mr. Dans was with the private New York merchant bank Allen & Co. During his career, Mr. Dans has worked on many agribusiness and logistics projects, including brewing, port facilities, distribution and packaging. Mr. Dans holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts. He earned his BA with honors from Brown University, where he majored in Russian studies and spent a year studying in Moscow. He is fluent in Russian and offices in New York, NY.
