   Sergio Danon, the branch leader, is a native of Rio de Janeiro.He grew up in a traditional Jewish home and came to believe in Jesus as his Messiah as he was waiting to be trained as a lieutenant in the Brazilian Army.He received his undergraduate degree in Sociology and his theological training from the Seminario Teológico Betel.Sergio is married to Alexia and is the father of Israel and Gabriel.
