   Dr. Mark Danney, M.D. Dr. Danney is a research physician and pediatric endocrinologist with dgd Research, Inc. and the Diabetes & Glandular Disease Clinic. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Air Force Academy in 1968 and a medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 1972. He served his internship and residency at Wilford Hall USAD Medical Center from 1972 to 1974. He completed a fellowship in pediatric endocrinology at University of Iowa-affiliated hospitals and clinics from 1974 to 1976. Dr. Danney has been a professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio since 1982. He is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric endocrinology. Dr. Danney is a member of the American Diabetes Association, Texas Pediatric Society, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, as well as other professional organizations.
