   Overall, the dollar in under pressure because people are focusing on the slowdown in the US economic growth and the Nasdaq also fell more than 5 percent, said Jesper Dannesboe, chief currency strategist at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson.
   
   Anything that confirms the market view of a slowdown in the US will weaken the dollar further. For euro/dollar, I would say the sentiment is neutral but would turn bullish on a break of $ 0.8635..
   
   Traders said talk was rife that funds were unwinding long dollar positions and said the US currency risked further losses if revisions to US third-quarter gross domestic product data, out at 1 : 30pm GMT, reinforced the view of a slowdown in the US economy.
   
   The dollar weakened as far $ 0.8617 per euro, its lowest since November 15.
