   Mr. Danner earned both his Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering (1971) and Masters of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering (1973) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

   Mr. Danner's early fascination with electronics did not surprise his family. In fact, his fascination emerged at age 5, when his father gave him several old radios to disassemble and play with. By age 10, he was building radios from scratch and repairing radios and television sets for family friends and neighbors, reading electronics magazines, learning circuit design, and exa mining college-level textbooks. In high school, Mr. Danner designed and constructed amplifiers, speakers, and eventually a complete sound system, using various electronic parts obtained from military surplus gear and old radios.
   
   Foundations and Growth of Scitec
   
   Mr. Danner joined Scitec in 2000 as Electronic Engineer and was later promoted to his current Director of Technology position, in which he coordinates the design and analysis activities of 50 electronic and manufacturing engineers working in Urbana and at Scitec manufacturing plants in China.
