   As a Forensic Accountant with Dubinsky & Company, P.C., Casey Dannen's professional focus is investigative accounting and litigation support services. Casey assists in detecting and deterring fraud by evaluating accounting systems, designing internal controls, determining the degree of organizational fraud risk, interpreting financial data for unusual trends and following up on fraud indicators. Casey has worked on cases ranging from simple theft to complex embezzlement litigation. She has also provided litigation support services in fraud matters related to marriage dissolutions, bankruptcy matters, medical malpractice and commercial litigation including damage and lost profits analysis.
   
   Casey received her Masters of Science degree in Accounting from The American University, Washington, D.C. (2001). She was honored with the prestigious Student Achievement Award from the Federation of Schools of Accountancy due to her superior academic performance. Casey received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting with a Minor in Criminal Justice from The American University, Washington, D.C. (2000).

   Casey Dannen, CPA, CFE, McWilliams & Company, PLLC, of Knoxville, recently earned accreditation as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). Dannen, who is a member of the litigation services team at McWilliams & Company, assists clients in the areas of fraud detection and deterrence by evaluating accounting systems, designing proper internal controls and interpreting financial data for unusual trends.
   
   The CFE designation is awarded by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and denotes a high level of anti-fraud expertise attained by professionals in accounting and other industries. Applicants for the CFE accreditation must complete a rigorous qualification and examination process and must be of high moral character, meet academic and professional requirements, maintain continuing professional education and adhere to the association's code of professional ethics.
   
   Dannen joined McWilliams & Company, PLLC, in 2002 and has worked in public accounting for two years. She received master of accountancy and undergraduate degrees from The American University, Washington, D.C., and also has expertise in accounting, auditing and tax preparation. She is a member of the Tennessee Society of CPAs, American Institute of CPAs and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
