   I was checking out everybody else's work and seeing what the quality was , admitted Pamela Danis , a teacher at All Saints' Academy in Winter Haven. She contributed three pieces to the show : two untitled plaster casts and an oil painting called Baby Tree..

   Danis has been exhibiting her artwork since graduating from Boston University in 1977. She said she shows mainly at the Ridge Art Gallery. A teacher at All Saints' for 11 years , she works with half of the school's approximately 400 students.
   
   Danis said it's interesting to see the connection between the art a teacher creates and that from his or her students.
   
   When you look at the teacher's work , you can see a lot of the stuff the kids do in emulation , she said.
