   Since Fall 2004, Yuri Danilov is the Deputy General Manager for Production Development, and responsible for Lean deployment at ABB Industrial and Building Systems, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Russia. Earlier, in 2003-2004, he was the Director, Production Development, at York International (Air Handling Units), Moscow, Russia where he was responsible for evaluation, analysis, planning, and realignment of the complete business system and factory operations. In addition, during this period, he developed Human Resources programs and motivation systems. Yuri was trained in Lean at the Center for Business Services Development (CBSD), Moscow, Russia, then at the Center for Robotics and Manufacturing Systems (CRMS), University of Kentucky, visited and studied the Toyota plant at Georgetown, Kentucky, and now continues his self-instruction as a day-by-day job. He is fluent in Russian and English and has an MBA in Strategic Management from Charles Sturt University, Wagga-Wagga, Australia.
