   Wally Danielson has 20 years of experience in the medical industry as an entrepreneur, owner, founder and executive. He became CEO of Impres Medical in May 2000. Prior to joining Impres, Mr. Danielson was an angel investor and VP of Sales and Marketing at Promethean Medical, a start-up focused in gynecology and urology. At Ferring Pharmaceuticals he helped introduce a new infertility injectable into the United States Ob/Gyn and fertility market from 1997-1999. He was President and CEO of Spectrum Medical Inc., an orthopedic implant distributorship, from 1990-1997. In 1996 he was a Founder of Northstar Medical. In his early career, he was a Sales Representative for a start-up orthopedic implant manufacturer Orthomet , and for Pfizer Pharmaceutical. Mr. Danielson received a BS in Chemistry and Business from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

Since 1998 he was involved with a medical start-up company, Promethean Medical Technologies, a medical device company specializing in fluid control in the operating room for Ob/Gyn procedures, originally as one of the initial investors, and eventually becoming Vice President of Sales and Marketing. From 1997 to 1999 he was a reproductive endocrine consultant for Ferring Pharmaceuticals, where he helped introduce a new infertility injectable into the United States Ob/Gyn and fertility market. From 1990-1997 he was President and CEO of Spectrum Medical Inc., a medical implant distributorship specializing in orthopedic implants. In 1996 he was one of six founders for Northstar Medical, Inc., where he helped establish a national sales/distribution network. From 1988-1990 he worked as a sales representative for a start-up orthopedic implant manufacturer, Orthomet. From 1986-1988 he was the local sales representative for Pfizer Pharmaceutical. Mr. Danielson received his Bachelors of Science in Chemistry and Business from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire.
