Thomas A. Danielson, age 79 of River Falls died Tuesday, October 29 at the Lutheran Home in River Falls.He was born the son of Enoch and Jennie (Julson) Danielson on June 26, 1923 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.He moved to the Baldwin area as a young boy.He attended Tydalen School and Spring Valley High School.Shortly before graduation in 1943 he joined the service.After a short time in the service he was Honorably discharged due to the medical condition Bronchial Asthma.On July 2, 1944 He married Catherine H. Glumske in Hammond, Wisconsin.Thomas worked for various farmers, operated his own business, and did extensive work in the area.He worked 12 years for Armour & Company, and spent the last 9 years as custodian for River Falls Housing, a job he loved.Thomas was a counselor for drug and alcohol in Menomonie.He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Catherine; children, Sandra Meglic and husband, Ray of Cannon Falls, MN, Larry Danielson and wife, Ruth of River Falls, Barry Danielson and wife, Karen of Baldwin, Craig Danielson and wife, Dorie of Red Wing, Eric Danielson and friend, Terri Danzinger of Spring Valley, Todd Danielson and wife, Terri of Cannon Falls, MN, and Thomas Danielson and friend, Vicki Danielson of Ellsworth; 20 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; brother, Jerry Danielson and wife, Zinni of Milwaukee; sister, Geraldine Nelson of River Falls; sisters-in-law Doris Andreason of California and Char Danielson of River Falls; and many more relatives and friends.Preceding Thomas in death are his parents, Enoch and Jennie Danielson; 1 brother; 1 sister; his in-laws, John and Merle Glumske; 3 granddaughters in infancy; 3 brothers-in-law; and many cousins and friends.
