Ted Danielson currently works out of his studio in Carlsbad, CA and likes useing mixed media often in his artwork.Ted enjoys telling a story or trying to emit an emotional feeling or mood with the illustrations he does.Editorial, satire, humor, fantasy and surreal are some of the topics he enjoys depicting. He uses various media to give a different look and textural feel to a piece depending on what the image is meant to communicate to the viewer.Mixed media is often used by Ted to do this, using ink, pastel, acrylic, oil, color pencil and watercolor all within the same piece to build up the effect and strong colors he is looking for.Others needing a gentler approach he may choose only to use one of these mediums.
