AUGUTSA â€" The Office of the Governor and the Maine Commission for Community Service presented Linda Danielson, volunteer services manager for Sweetser, with Maine's Excellence in Volunteer Administration Award on April 23 in Augusta.
Linda has worked for Sweetser for more than 10 years. She coordinates more than 500 volunteers who contribute 40,000 hours per year. She divides her time between 20 offices and residences between Kittery and Bangor, keeping Sweetser's volunteer program running smoothly while making sure each volunteer is placed appropriately according to their interests and capabilities. -
