Larry Danielson
Larry Danielson is President of the MADLaT Board and has been active for the past five years on the conference planning committee, helping with marketing and with K-S4 programming. A pioneer in the development and delivery of web-based courses for secondary students, he has worked closely with MECY (Manitoba Education, Citizenship and Youth) in the creation of provincial online courses. He has also served as a presenter at the 2004 and 2005 MADLaT conferences--Lessons from Cyberspace; Teaching Learners to be Self-Directed.
A teacher and writer, Larry has keen interests in how new technologies affect personal communications. He has traveled coast-to-coast in Canada, promoting the integration of information technology in learning. Twice chosen as an Associate of Nortel's National Institute, Larry is the recipient of its Excellence in Education award. He is a founding board member of Canada's SchoolNet News and of iEARN Canada. Formerly a teacher at Garden Valley Collegiate in Winkler, MB, Larry is now a consultant and researcher with Wellspring Consociates. -
