   Kirk Danielson is an Oregon Health & Science University medical student on rotation at Dunes Family Health Care in Reedsport.
   
   Kirk currently lives in Portland. He has already attended Montana State University and has served previous clerkships in OB/GYN, internal medicine, family medicine, pediatrics and psychiatry.
   
   When asked what he would like to get out of this rural rotation, Kirk stated, "to see if rural medicine interests me; to gain a better understanding of true outpatient medicine; and to get a better sense of how medicine is allocated with more limited services".
   
   Outside of medicine, Kirk enjoys sports, fishing, skiing, kayaking and running.
