Scott is originally from Fonthill, Ontario and has been active in sport all his life: lacross, gymnastics, skiing, snowboarding and motorcycling, to name a few. Prior to moving to Trail in 2000, he had been a member of the volunteer Canadian Ski Patrol System for 6 years - 4 years in Nova Scotia and 2 years in Saskatchewan.
