Ray Daniels, a member of the Tri-City Branch of the NAACP in Union, said Kerry's speech addressed all his major concerns.

"I thought it was a good summary of the major issues facing all Americans," he said.

However, Daniels cautioned that one speech would not be enough to earn his vote in November.
