Comedian Marty Daniels has been called LETHAL.OUTRAGEOUS.QUICK WITTED and a few things that are not so flattering.Most times if someone describes a stand-up comedian as lethal, quick witted or outrageous it means foul language and blue humor.If a comedian is described as a Christian you may think he'll deliver sermonettes filled with a good tongue lashing to the lost while slapping the back of those who "believe".Not Marty.
Marty is a lethal, quick witted, outrageous, Christian comedian who generates laughs based on the absurdities of the church and mainstream culture.He also happens to be HILARIOUS!There's a balance in Marty's comedy that has earned him the trust of Pastors and leaders in several denominations including Baptist, Pentecostal, Methodist, Lutheran, Nazarene, Mennonite and several Independent fellowships.
Asked what his mission is Daniels said "I want people to laugh.Laughter can help rekindle a spirit of community that can only exist through the church.This type of community has the power to reclaim the wondering spirit, heal the broken heart,free the bound mind and give hope to the empty soul."
Marty spent 15 years working as a popular radio personality in mainstream and Christian radio.Always a visionary he helped build one of the nations most aggressive Christian Rock Stations from the ground up in his hometown of Columbus, OH.He is currently planning the launch of his very own syndicated radio program.
Over the past 20 years Marty has helped plant churches, built radio stations and delivered sidesplitting laughs at churches, comedy clubs and on college campus's around the country.He's been in movies with some of Hollywood's elite and inspired laughs for everyone from the sick, the homeless, the elderly and grief stricken to top figures in industry, politics and entertainment.
