   Mark Daniel has been a partner with Rathje & Woodward since 1999. His primary areas of practice relate to land use, municipal and government law, as well as trial and appellate litigation for private and public sector clients. Mark represents many clients in real estate, commercial, corporate and civil rights litigation. He also advises clients on copyright and trademark registration and litigation. Mark has served as municipal counsel for a number of municipalities. Mark began his career with the Cincinnati firm of Dinsmore & Shohl.

   Mark has lectured on municipal, zoning and land use matters before the American Planning Association (Illinois Division), the International Municipal Lawyers Association, the Chicago Bar Association, and the DuPage County Bar Association.    While one claiming procedural problems was thrown out of court last month, the plaintiffs appealed that ruling last week, said their attorney Mark Daniel, a zoning and environmental lawyer with Wheaton-based Rathje & Woodward LLC.
   
   "They don't like the idea that to drive to their neighborhood, visitors will have to drive by this industrial site that is a polluter to the area," Daniel said.

   Mark W. Daniel is a member of Rathje, Woodward, Dyer & Burt in Wheaton, Illinois where he practices private and public real estate, land use and environmental law. He has served as counsel to a handful of Chicago municipalities and has experience at all levels of the Illinois judicial system, in Ohio and in a number of federal courts.
