   Lee Daniels grew up in Minnesota. Her search for colleges included Colorado, and upon coming to Colorado to look at the prospective colleges decided to make her home here. She attended the University of Denver, and graduated with a BA degree in Elementary Education. Almost all of Lee's work experience has been teaching children from preschool to sixth grade. A part time passion involved being a Managing Art Consultant for four years. Lee assisted both residential and commercial clients to select art, matting, and framing for their homes and offices. She also volunteered for roughly ten years with the Girl Scouts as a troop leader, and day camp director. Her love of children extends to teaching Sunday School at Unity church for 12 years.
   
   Lee has been a Board member of the Child Rescue Foundation since April of 2001. Her current duties include helping to plan and coordinate many projects that will benefit children who have or are experiencing domestic violence. Lee's caring and devotion to children place her in the position of School Liaison.
   
   Lee states…" I'm involved in CRF for several reasons. First, I love children, and have come to know and understand them. I believe strongly in helping others; I want to be a part of the solution for the children that are in need. Also, there is a great need for this organization. It can provide education, support, hope, and healing to many children and adults. CRF is educating both adults and children about domestic violence and sharing techniques for self-defense, how to resolve conflicts, and where to go for help."
