Previously , Daniels held various senior management positions with MERANT plc , a $350 million global provider of enterprise software solutions. Most recently , he was the Senior Vice President and General Manager of MERANT's e-Business Enablement operation.
   
   Daniels is serving in his second term as president of the Board of Trustees of The National Presbyterian Church in Washington DC. He and his wife reside in Potomac , Maryland with their two daughters.
