Gwendolyn L. DanielsMs. Gwendolyn L. Daniels is a Registered Patent Agent with an academic and research background in the biological sciences.Ms. Daniels joined the firm of Saliwanchik, Lloyd & Saliwanchik in 1990 after completing graduate work in entomology at the University of Florida.In addition to her training in entomology, Ms. Daniels holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology (1987) from McNeese State University.
While working as an undergraduate research assistant, Ms. Daniels gained extensive experience in zoological laboratory and field research, and co-authored scientific papers related to this work.Ms. Daniels also worked as a research assistant in several entomology laboratories during her undergraduate and graduate career.Her work with various insect species led to a position in the U.S. Department of Agriculture, where she conducted research relating to the biological and genetic control of disease vectors.
Ms. Daniels has utilized her scientific background assisting in the preparation, filing, and prosecution of patent applications at Saliwanchik, Lloyd & Saliwanchik.During her time with SLS, first as a paralegal and now as a patent agent, Ms. Daniels has gained extensive experience relating to U.S. and foreign patent prosecution, including the filing and prosecution of design patent applications.She also assists in the preparation of drawings for design and utility patent applications using CAD and other graphics-related software.
In addition to being registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, Ms. Daniels is a member of the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA), Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM), and the Florida Entomological Society (FES).
