  Don Daniels, Swedish-American's vice president of clinic management, will be the hospital's head administrator.Daniels attended Monday's committee meeting and updated councilmen on the project.
  
  He showed an artist's rendering of the facility and introduced Brenda Clark, a registered nurse who will be responsible for the clinic's nursing operations, and Eric Hoogcarspel, who will be the clinic's operations manager.
  
  Daniels said floor plans for the facility are still in a state of flux as officials will be tracking the need for bed space and office space during the coming year.
  
  Ald. Ed Fabish asked Daniels if SwedishAmerican officials foresee having to expand beyond the current facility.
  
  "We hope to have that problem," Daniels said.

  Don Daniels, vice president, medical group clinic management, said he would be "doing cartwheels" if SwedishAmerican started doing one of these every week -- but he doesn't think that's likely.
  
  Most executive physicals are paid for by the company, as part of the medical benefits package.But this is a time when companies nationwide are pulling back on health-care benefits for employees at all levels.
  
  Still, some companies continue to pay for their top leaders to have these physicals.
  
  "It's a risk-management strategy," Daniels said.
