    Daniels named WMU multicultural ministry consultant

    (BIRMINGHAM, Ala.) - August 8, 2005 - Dianne Daniels has been named as the new multicultural ministry consultant for national WMU.

    Daniels, who joined the WMU staff July 1, previously worked as Spanish teacher for the past 16 years in high schools in Burlington and Greensboro, N.C. Prior to teaching, she and her husband, Bain, served as missionaries through the International Mission Board from 1981-1987 in Bogota, Colombia. Daniels also has experience working on church staffs; she served as director of education at Glen Hope Baptist Church in Burlington, N.C., and minister of education at Rolling Roads Baptist Church in Greensboro, N.C.

    She holds both a bachelor's and master's degree from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro, and earned a Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
