Interview with Dennis Daniels

Dennis Daniels has been a researcher for the North Carolina Office of Archives and History in Raleigh for two years.

THJHA: What is your educational background?

Dennis Daniels: I have a bachelor of science degree in history from Methodist College in Fayetteville and a master of arts degree in history from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

In March 1999, the team of Emily Grant, youth program coordinator; Dennis Daniels, assistant curator; Sandra Hasson, exhibit designer; and Linda Williams, museum registrar, began their work.

In a time-consuming process, Daniels found most of them in the North Carolina Archives, which has a collection of negatives from the Raleigh newspaper News and Observer.
